Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is a famous American actor. Kellie Martin has appeared in numerous TV shows like "Christy", the drama about a young woman named Christy Huddleston. In addition, she is famous for her role as the lead on The Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin is born to a department store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her career acting at the age of seven, when her aunt who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin get a part in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". Her professional career began after graduating Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of roles both in the television and film industries. Martin has also been a photographer and a dancer. She is a mother of two. she's the official spokesperson for Lupus and has been spreading awareness regarding the disease since her sister died of it in around 19 years old.
